Life update

Yes, that's right! I'm here, in New Jersey. I'm finally with the love of my life. I left San Diego, CA on Feb 17, 2016. My boyfriend surprised us with a new laptop he had purchased during the Black Friday sale. I have decided to get my blog back and running! It's much easier to update and use Blogger on a laptop/desktop computer than it is using a Surface tablet.

I'm going to keep this blog both planner friendly, as well as life friendly. Right now we're staying in a foreclosed house, using this time to our advantage, trying to save as much money as possible. I spend my days, when my boyfriend is at work, cleaning our house, using the treadmill, playing with my planners, and searching for jobs. With the free time I have, I thought it would be beneficial, to keep myself from going crazy, to start my blog again.

I updated my 24 before 25 list, and my about me page (which now tells which current planners I have) I'm going to start getting posts in the que. I hope you enjoy looking in on my life! Living here is a lot different than San Diego, and I feel lucky to get to show this new part of my life with you

9 days!!!!

 

The love of my life will be here May 2- May 9! I'm very excited to be able to get 1 week with him where he doesn't have to work! It's exciting and I feel like this trip won't be filled with sadness because he won't be working all the time!!! I also get to celebrate his 24th birthday with him, as well as mine. I have cute gifts lined up as well as a nice birthday dinner. I hope he likes visiting me and getting to know my family

Goals for 2015

 

• Post more on my blog, including planner photos, snail mail photos, feelings, and reviews. Really give my blog some life again!
• Have fun on my trip to New Jersey again, and make sure Michael feels loved
• Continue losing weight and get into the 180's-200's
• Find new recipes, and write them down in a new journal
• More selfie photos with my septum piercing, and no make up.
• Complete a 5 and 10k
• Find a full time job with benefits
• Take more film photos
• Fly Michael here in May for our birthdays
• Fit in a ride at Disneyland
• Have $400 in savings for new tires
• Give up one carbohydrate a month
• Save money for moving out
• Buy at least 2 more Kate Spade bangles
• No more planners for 2015

• I got my surgery date for the gastric sleeve surgery, October 6th
• This upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I get to go on a cruise with my mom
• This Friday I'm also buying my last Filofax, and what better way to celebrate my last? An original!

Seeing my boyfriend in New Jersey

Yesterday, I came back from my mini vacation to the East coast. I had so much fun seeing the love of my life, finally, after 9-10 years. And, his family made sure to remind me countless times that he isn't allowed to move to California! So, if I'm planning on staying with him, which I am, I got to get my shit together and move out there! Which, if I'm with him, I don't mind. For me, everything felt perfect. Conversation between us wasn't forced, and of course the first few hours we were both pretty shy.... until I took the lunge and kissed him!! It was so weird to see him in person. From when he picked me up @ the airport, up until when he drove me back to the airport, I couldn't stop staring at him while he drove us around with this big goofy smile on my face.

We weren't able to go out a lot because I got really bad cramps that lasted 3 days, but we were both fine cuddling up and watching TV or talking in his bed about us and the past and our future together. I'm so happy we finally took the initiative to have this happen. We also talked about when he's coming here, and hopefully, he's going to try to come in December. I can barely hold on until then, the pain of leaving was so bad. Skype and the phone have to keep me company until he can smile his eye wrinkling smile in person and wrap his arms around me and cuddle into my chest.

I finally feel a little confident with my Petal Filofax pocket planner. I've been putting Washi tape all over it, putting pretty cut-out paper on some of the dates, and I made my own dividers for it. I currently have 3, "Weekly", "Blog", and "Notes". I wanted to share some of the "weekly" section for you all. My divider is made out of paper from Michael's that I used to trace the original Filo dividers. I used a pink flag sticky note for the label. I glued my daisy paper to a heavier paper, then put clear duct tape over it to make sure it feels sturdy. I love them.

My friend and I went to the beach yesterday, and I got to be a fat babe in my forever21+ bathing suit. It was weird because I'm starting to wrap my head around the fact that this will be the last summer I'm a 3-4x!!! Isn't that crazy?! I can't wait to be smaller! I love being around the beach and seeing the pretty water and boats. I just hate sand!

A little personal update

Hello, hello, good morning! It's a cloudy morning here in San Diego. I wanted to write a personal post about some of the things I've been doing lately and some of the feelings I've been having......

• I'm always bawling my eyes out when I've been on my Extreme Weight loss kick watching hours of this show
• Now that summer is here, I'm trying to be active. Most of the time now I'll be watching TV and I start thinking how I don't want to spend my time inside. I try to find things to do. Last night I met up with my friend and we drove around thinking we were going to see the fireworks, but we didn't... oops. Besides that I've been trying to exercise on my days off
• I'm trying to keep up with my snail mail, and thanks to Fab's website I'll hopefully get in touch with some new pen pals soon.
• I'm not going to get too into this, but I think my relationship with my boyfriend is coming to a close end... I'm trying really hard to not start binge eating, and I'm hoping that watching EWL will help me kick that emotional eating I do
• I feel like this summer will really be the 'make it or break it' when it comes to seeing what friendships I keep, and which I get rid of
• I can't wait for tomorrow's paycheck!!

Hello, my name is Marisa. I'm 23 years old. Today, I wanted to put up a personal post about me, and some of my likes and dislikes.

I'm a part time cashier @ Ikea, as well as a part time student @ community college. I used to want to be an American Sign Language Interpreter, but as of late I'm not so sure anymore. This summer
2014, I'm getting gastric bypass surgery. From there on out my time will be spent working part time/ full time, and getting a gym membership! I'm so excited.

23: Birthday weekend!

My birthday was filled with a trip to Baja Betty's for Mexican food and drinks, and a penis hat made out of balloons! Everyone wanted a photo with me, and my waitress was getting a little TOO handsy with my body..... and I even got a sloppy kiss from her -.- Before that day, I got my makeover from Sephora thanks to my baby.... and a few days before that I ended up getting my Monroe pierced! Back to the present, yesterday I had my friends over for my birthday dinner, which I ended up cooking. My guacamole killed it -as always! Included in the photos are two of my favorite gifts. My mom and dad went on a cruise, so I couldn't celebrate Mother's day with her, our family is going to celebrate when they get back (:
