I'm doing a swap... and my recent purchases...
Katzi, my new friend from a previous swap, agreed to do a swap with me. We need to have our items sent out by July 4, and there isn't a theme. I also said that before shipping prices, there's only a $10 maximum amount we can spend on special items. So far, I've found 2 items for Katzi that I know she's going to love... and hopefully she understands the reference I made with one of the items. The rest of the items are going to be things I make since the little package I'm using is a priority mail small package, "If it fits, it ships"!

Also, I got some cute items @ Target. On clearance I bought an address book, a new set of Crayola markers, as well as Katzi's items :3
Follow Friday Pt. 1
For this follow Friday I decided to pick Katzi. I first got in touch with Katzi from Fab's Secret Pen Pal Scavenger Hunt 2014. I enjoyed making her cute items and sending her mail! Since then we've kept in touch via letters and email. I feel like Katzi and I have a lot of similar interests and I love seeing her blog (http://shelovesyoublog.blogspot.com/) She inspires me to get my Polaroid and take photos! If only 1 pack of 10 wasn't $12 :( Katzi also helps me with things for my blog, and she sent this really adorable signature.
"April Showers..."
Today's title is, "April Showers". Today is the first day of April and I woke up to the pouring of rain! I'm so excited, I love rain.
Anyways, to start this blog off, again, I thought I would try to give a little update about what's been going on in my life that deals with snail mail. I feel like over the past few months I've lost correspondences but, also in those same months, I've gained new pen pals that I often hear from! Included is Katzi, Marian, Fab, and Carmen. Also, thanks to Fab, I now have 2 new pen pals that are from the UK! I actually got a really interesting envelope from one of them. The envelope, once opened, turned into the letter. I've never seen that before! ( Photo below. ) I feel so grateful to have people to write to! Sometimes I'm a little slow, because I need more stamps! Story of my life! But, now that I'm employed, that will change very soon. I have about 5 envelopes that need stamps as of now.
Stay tuned!
