I finally feel a little confident with my Petal Filofax pocket planner. I've been putting Washi tape all over it, putting pretty cut-out paper on some of the dates, and I made my own dividers for it. I currently have 3, "Weekly", "Blog", and "Notes". I wanted to share some of the "weekly" section for you all. My divider is made out of paper from Michael's that I used to trace the original Filo dividers. I used a pink flag sticky note for the label. I glued my daisy paper to a heavier paper, then put clear duct tape over it to make sure it feels sturdy. I love them.

AH! Today I'm reviewing Rifle Paper Co. One of my favorite paper companies, and probably where I get most of my expensive stationary needs. I first became familiar with this paper company from seeing photos of pretty floral items via tumblr. My first purchase was a print/note-cards that I saw at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla.

I've been walking around Target many times and came across the "Botanicals Notebook collection" $12.95 for a set of 3 notebooks. I thought this was the perfect time to get the set since I'll be writing down a lot of my feelings, exercises, and my future days. I wanted to give one of the journals to Fab but she told me no :(

I just found out that Office Depot sells Washi tape! I'm very excited because I've started to run out of tape and it's easier to go to the store then get tape and wait for shipping via online. I haven't opened it yet, but I'm going to soon since I'm going to be replying to Marian's mail! Check tomorrow for photos of her mail!

http://www.mara-mi.com/ I just recently discovered Mara Mi from Target. My first purchase was a set of note-cards. I usually get a 10 pack of the note-cards, and I save 1 card for myself. When I eventually move into my own place, I want to put each card in a nice frame. Anyways, Target is a little pricy, wanting at least $4.99 for a set of 10 cards, while Marshalls wants $2.99. Mara Mi doesn't just do cards, they also do phone cases and invitations, and other items as well ^.^

I swear, I just don't want to do that review on Naked Basic palette :/

One of my new favorite movies, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". I had originally seen this movie when it had come out in the theatres with one of my best friends. We saw the 11 AM showing, and it was pretty empty because it was so early. I don't want to ruin it but for anyone who has seen the commercials, the minute I saw Ben Stiller get on that longboard, I started recording it through SnapChat. I have one of the biggest crushes on him, and it only got bigger when my friend and I began to realize that the longer the movie was going, the more of a beard he started to get!!!

This movie is so good, I can't believe they were able to turn a small book into a 2 hour movie. When I finish this movie I feel inspired to "go into the unknown", and while I'm watching it, I sometimes get 'happy Goosebumps', which I'm sure is also because of the GREAT soundtrack throughout the movie. All in all a 10/10! Him jumping out of a helicopter into a huge ocean probably helps with that score, maybe not, but probably..

I was going to review my Naked Basic palette, but instead I decided to share with you my purchases from Bath and Bodyworks!! I had a gift card to use and my friend and I were in the area already with the store. For my birthday, my friends gave me a basket of bath gels and lotions, so I went for purchases today that are a little bit out of my comfort zone:

  • LONDON CALLING: Tea and Lemon scented candle (in a tin). Originally priced at $8.50, on special for $5. The smell is fantastic, very very fresh. The lemon isn't too sharp, the tea fragrance evens it out. The tin is red, and the sales associate told me she has the same! She gave me the idea that after the candle is melted, I can scrape out the finishes and use the tins as a little keep-sake item

  • ENDLESS WEEKEND fine fragrance mist 8 oz. Originally priced at $14.00 on sale for $6 It's really hard for me to describe this scent but the bottle is pretty, and I like having the big size like this one

  • BATH AND BODYWORKS FLOWER TRAY: Priced at $10.50 I really wanted this tray, I like the design of it. I'm still figuring out if I want it as a soap tray, or something to hold my keys/rings/earrings...I'll most likely use it as a soap tray though, since my current soap holder is an old dipping sauce bowl :/

All in all, a good $23 spent, with the left over money in my pocket!
