A few days ago, the planner gods were totally in my favor! A friend of mine ended up moving back to San Diego and with her packed apartment, was her fluorescent orange filofax!
A little backstory on what this planner means to me: the first time I had ever seen a filofax was in a stationary store in San Diego called Warwicks. I was originally going into the store for some pens, since they have a moderate selection.. On a shelf filled with planners, the bottom shelf held an A5 orange planner. I looked at the price, $110 and decided it was ridiculous to pay that much for a binder. Days went by, and I kept visiting the planner section, finally going home with a pocket size blue petal filofax. I remember posting on this blog about my planner finds. When I saw in the planner community how hard it was to come across a fluro orange, I mentally kicked myself.. And, with my luck when I was ready to buy the planner, it was purchased.
Fast forward, years later.......................................................
I finally have a personal size orange filofax. The company started to see how "in demand" this color was for an 'original', and came out with a burnt orange, which didn't have the same hype. My friend came across this planner in the Kate Spade planner group on Facebook, back when the group was very active. A girl, who I don't think is in the planner community anymore, did a RAK (random act of kindness) give-a-way, and my friend was the winner. It's been about 4 or 5 years, and she's never used the binder, so now it's mine!! I will be sharing my weekly spreads
