Filofax Patent Pocket Duck Egg (Pt.1)

I came across this planner from trading a Filofax Willow with a friend of mine. She had gotten 2 pocket duck eggs from the filofax website, so she let m trade her mine for hers. I was in love with the willow, but the material of it made me feel more like a little kid, rather than a 23 year old

I got the smash* book label maker but it does a bad job at actually sticking to things :/

My Planner Obsession Lately

Over the past three-four months I've gone through about five or six planners. I started with a petal blue pocket size Filofax. That was my first planner that I got after joining the Filofax Facebook community. Before that I was using a $12.99 planner from Typo. Since then, I've sold both, I've purchased the Flower Burst cover story personal size Filofax. It took me a few months but I finally fell in love with it. By that time I began lusting after the gorgeous Kate Spade leather bound Wellesley planners.

I didn't want to spend $100+ for the binder, so I settled with trading my cover story for a Kate Spade pocket Anne planner. I loved it! It was a hot pink canvas style front binder, and the inside was black and white stripes. It was about two weeks that I moved in and loved my planner... But, then the size started getting to me! I missed my personal sized planner, so I ended up trading my Kate Spade planner for a Willow personal Filofax. I wasn't happy with the willow though, because of the material the binder was made out of. I plan on mailing my willow to New York as a trade for a new patent duck egg pocket Filofax! I'm hoping to make it into a wallet planner and such! After holding a nude and Fluro pink Original, I decided I needed to get my hands on an Original Filofax so that's what's coming once I get a full time job and get some money saved up $$$$

I decided to take the plunge and spend $60 on a purple patent personal sized Original Filofax. I got it for $60 shipped because of the small nail scruffs on the back cover. For that price, and for it being my first, that didn't even bother me. These are my photos of my first Original. I still want the Wellesley binder, and I'm eyeing the nude Filofax as well... but for now this will do!

My Polaroid from Katzi
& my flower KS paper clip from Nancy

Nancy (Easy: minted sugar) made my dividers!

My love letter I made him write when I was visiting, and
he hid it in my planner for me to find!

This didn't go so well this month :/

These KS calendar dividers were sent to me from a really inspiring member
in the KS planner group on Facebook!

These dividers I had made special for me when I had my willow

Another planner? I know, right! This one is special. I had originally wanted the gold polka dot Kate Spade planner but when I got home with it, there was scratches on the gold polka dots :( I was really upset and ended up returning it. I now have this one, the medium "set the stage" Kate Spade planner. It is spiral bound, which is new for me. I remember seeing the 2014 calendar inserts they made for personal and pocket planners in a spiral bound form, and I love the water color scheme so much I kind of wish I bought that when I saw it. Anyways, I love this planner. The inside is so dreamy, and I love how it has it's own tabs for the year. It has from August 2014 until December 2015. I wanted this one because I'm not sure what inserts are coming out for the 6 ring personal size binder in 2015, and I know I liked this planner. I love this planner so far, the pens I'm using don't bleed (I even use a uni-ball pen at times) and colored pen (pictured in my Original Filofax post)

It has little pockets for supplies!

Magazine cut-outs are a MUST in this planner
