I took all of these photos with a Polaroid 300 using the Instant 300 film. I haven't been using my Polaroid lately because the film is 10 shots for $11.23 @ Target. I wanted to take some instants because I've been inspired from seeing Katzi's photos on her blog & Instagram. The second and third instants were trial and thankfully, no errors! With the second picture, I used my Holga135 colored flash on the orange. For the last picture I used my Holga135 fisheye attachment, which after a few tries, I can actually fit onto the lens of my Polaroid, at least for a few seconds! I'm happy with the results, especially after I tried to take a photo a few days back and my result was a white picture that wasn't developed properly, ahh :(

This is what I was aiming for, I took this a few years back with my digital camera

A few days back Coreena put out a new zine called "Pretty Secrets". I jumped on purchasing the zine, because in the past I'm usually too late on getting a copy. I loved seeing all the art in this issues, especially since I love flowers! Here are some of my favorite shots of the zine, without giving TOO much away:::

I swear, I just don't want to do that review on Naked Basic palette :/

One of my new favorite movies, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". I had originally seen this movie when it had come out in the theatres with one of my best friends. We saw the 11 AM showing, and it was pretty empty because it was so early. I don't want to ruin it but for anyone who has seen the commercials, the minute I saw Ben Stiller get on that longboard, I started recording it through SnapChat. I have one of the biggest crushes on him, and it only got bigger when my friend and I began to realize that the longer the movie was going, the more of a beard he started to get!!!

This movie is so good, I can't believe they were able to turn a small book into a 2 hour movie. When I finish this movie I feel inspired to "go into the unknown", and while I'm watching it, I sometimes get 'happy Goosebumps', which I'm sure is also because of the GREAT soundtrack throughout the movie. All in all a 10/10! Him jumping out of a helicopter into a huge ocean probably helps with that score, maybe not, but probably..

  • I have laundry to do again, of course
  • I feel like I keep having to take money out of my savings with Michael now that I have to start paying for things, so I'm going to start cutting back on eating out
  • The trashes in my room need to be taken out
  • One of my ex friends is now out of my life completely because she's a stupid idiot
  • I want to cut my hair, but I shouldn't. I also need my hair to be dyed again
  • I need to organize my closet, but I have no idea what the first step would be

Sunday night contemplating

After getting off work, I've been looking around Google image for "short hair"... there are some cuts I like, and some I don't. I'm really weighing my options with going short because right now I have a chubby face and chin area. With getting surgery though, my face and chin will soon shrink. I'm very impulsive and don't want to wait until July/August for a cut. I'm kind of digging this look:

I'm doing a swap... and my recent purchases...

Katzi, my new friend from a previous swap, agreed to do a swap with me. We need to have our items sent out by July 4, and there isn't a theme. I also said that before shipping prices, there's only a $10 maximum amount we can spend on special items. So far, I've found 2 items for Katzi that I know she's going to love... and hopefully she understands the reference I made with one of the items. The rest of the items are going to be things I make since the little package I'm using is a priority mail small package, "If it fits, it ships"!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, I got some cute items @ Target. On clearance I bought an address book, a new set of Crayola markers, as well as Katzi's items :3

A new feature on the blog, "Fantasy Friday" is starting. It entails everything I wish I could buy for the week, but sadly, can't afford!

A few weeks back, I noticed Michelle made a post about a phone case she purchased. I've been contemplating whether or not to buy it and today I decided to. Yesterday, I put a claim in for a new phone via squaretrade, so what's better to celebrate a new phone with a new case?! I can't wait for it to get here!!

According to Wikipedia:

The peony is a flowering plant in the genus Paeonia, the only genus in the family Paeoniaceae. They are native to Asia, Southern Europe and Western North America. Boundaries between species are not clear and estimates of the number of species range from 25 [2] to 40.[3]
Most are herbaceous perennial plants 0.5–1.5 metres (1.6–4.9 ft) tall, but some resemble trees 1.5–3 metres (4.9–9.8 ft) tall. They have compound, deeply lobed leaves and large, often fragrant, flowers, ranging from red to white or yellow, in late spring and early summer.

I was going to review my Naked Basic palette, but instead I decided to share with you my purchases from Bath and Bodyworks!! I had a gift card to use and my friend and I were in the area already with the store. For my birthday, my friends gave me a basket of bath gels and lotions, so I went for purchases today that are a little bit out of my comfort zone:

  • LONDON CALLING: Tea and Lemon scented candle (in a tin). Originally priced at $8.50, on special for $5. The smell is fantastic, very very fresh. The lemon isn't too sharp, the tea fragrance evens it out. The tin is red, and the sales associate told me she has the same! She gave me the idea that after the candle is melted, I can scrape out the finishes and use the tins as a little keep-sake item

  • ENDLESS WEEKEND fine fragrance mist 8 oz. Originally priced at $14.00 on sale for $6 It's really hard for me to describe this scent but the bottle is pretty, and I like having the big size like this one

  • BATH AND BODYWORKS FLOWER TRAY: Priced at $10.50 I really wanted this tray, I like the design of it. I'm still figuring out if I want it as a soap tray, or something to hold my keys/rings/earrings...I'll most likely use it as a soap tray though, since my current soap holder is an old dipping sauce bowl :/

All in all, a good $23 spent, with the left over money in my pocket!

  • I have about three papers that need to be written by Wednesday
  • I need to get the house looking presentable for my parents coming home on Tuesday, because no one else is going to do it (cough, my sister, cough)
  • School is finished for the semester on Wednesday, and I'm failing my Art History class
  • Working Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • I have to put my clothes away (2 loads with) and do 1 more load of laundry, by Wednesday
  • I have 3 finals this week, one I can start tomorrow, the other two are on Wednesday
  • I haven't been writing down my food, and my nutrition meeting is on the 29th
  • My lock button on my Galaxy 3 is jammed, so now I have to wait & pay to get it looked at
  • Books are due @ the rental areas for school on Saturday and I need to call and figure out which I can return/sell

With what's been going on lately at home, I really need a vacation..

  1. Miami: I would want to ride a bike on the boardwalk, have drinks and go out to all the trashy clubs. I would want to lounge out near the pool/beach and read silly books, most likely BJ Novak's new book. I would want to do all the tourist things all well
  2. Santa Monica: I've always wanted to go back to Santa Monica once I learned that there's a 2-3 story Lomography store there. I read that they have classes there that teach you how to use different cameras and film, and they develop the film there for you as well. I've always wanted to get my film cross-processed
  3. Huntington Beach: I've wanted to go because there's a really pretty Ferris wheel that over looks the beach. Irvine, and Santa Monica have one as well, but the one @ Huntington is so much prettier, also across the way they have a haunted ghost ship (that I had a lot of fun staying on)
  4. New York: I'm not sure if I would go there right now because I'm sure it's hot. Also, I'm sure there are a ton of tourists there too as well. I want to for the bagels, to spot famous people, window shop at all the stores I can't afford or fit into, and see the same sorts of skyscrapers that are seen on Tumblr
  5. New Jersey: For obvious reasons

Now that my blog is finally finished with a makeover, it's time to start figuring out how I want my posts. That being said, this is the planner I've had to organize my posts, with the slacking and all! I know it's already May, but I'm going to continue using this planner until I finish it all up. There's a lot of space inside for each day. Of course, I'll be adding photos of my planner as I'm using it. Stay tuned.

School is finished next week!

A list of things I want to accomplish once school is finished includes:
  • More Smash*
  • More Keri Smith
  • More outgoing mail
  • More time spent on my blog
  • More time doing creative things
  • More DIY!

23: Birthday weekend!

My birthday was filled with a trip to Baja Betty's for Mexican food and drinks, and a penis hat made out of balloons! Everyone wanted a photo with me, and my waitress was getting a little TOO handsy with my body..... and I even got a sloppy kiss from her -.- Before that day, I got my makeover from Sephora thanks to my baby.... and a few days before that I ended up getting my Monroe pierced! Back to the present, yesterday I had my friends over for my birthday dinner, which I ended up cooking. My guacamole killed it -as always! Included in the photos are two of my favorite gifts. My mom and dad went on a cruise, so I couldn't celebrate Mother's day with her, our family is going to celebrate when they get back (:

Me getting ready for a blow job

My penis hat had BIG balls

The first(s) of May

I've noticed that when each month rolls around, bloggers update about what they're looking forward to for the new month. For the month of May I'm looking forward to Spring, my boyfriend and I celebrating our birthdays, going to see the flower fields, school finishing, and wearing my new bathing suit in public! Hopefully, this will be a good month!
For my birthday, Michael got me a gift card and make over from Sephora, my parents got me the NYX dream catcher palette, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty on DVD, and money. My friend Marcy is giving me heart lights I picked out from Ikea, and my other gifts haven't been given to me yet!!
